CHAURA makes tea shots for home espresso machines.
CHAURA is the consumer brand of CHAURA TEA LLC, sold at getchaura.com. We portion real ground tea at 6g so you can pull a concentrated shot and finish it as milk tea—without a second brewer on the counter.
Why this exists
We wanted better milk tea at home. The pressure and temperature platform was already there: a home espresso machine. Early trials used market-shelf tea, ground and pulled like espresso. Some cups were weak, some bitter, and too many left fine tea particles behind.
That pushed the work upstream—sourcing, a fixed 6g portion, and eight teas chosen for what survives milk, not what sounds impressive on a label. Friends then pulled the same workflow on their machines. Around ten home espresso machines is the evidence we will say out loud.
What we will not say
We do not claim every machine and basket behaves the same. We do not claim organic certification. We do not claim flavoring status we have not documented. We do not claim fines, retention, or clogging are solved. A quick rinse after every shot is part of the drink.
